Weekly Coach Newsletter
Hey Team,
I hope your week has started out well and fit. I just got through a four day weekend. My girls are going back to school soon and I want to spend as much time with them before they go back. They keep me grounded and focused. They continue to be the driving force behind my fitness. I want to be with them as long as I can.

    I am very close to finishing my mass/toning P90X hybrid. Paying team members will get exclusive access to worksheets and videos. I may offer live video feeds to those of my Home Direct Shakeology customers if there is an interest. Ladies, get ready to get tone, men, get ready to gain some mass.
     
    I want you to take the remainder of the week and begin to think about what it is you can change to get your fitness started? I want you to think about nutrition. You can loose more weight focusing on nutrition than anything else. It is 80% of your results. Let me repeat that. Nutrition makes 80% of your results. Skipping meals is not how you get to your ideal weight, it is how you lose muscle and slow down your metabolism then put it right back on when you reach your weight goal. Take the time to learn about it.

    Instead of watching the TV, clicking endlessly on facebook, take 15 minutes out and google starchy carbohydrate. That one thing could be the difference in 20 pounds. I learned more from 3 pages of Tom Venuto's book Body Fat Solution then I knew my whole life and it changed me. It made my fitness journey possible. Crazy but it's true. We make up excuses about time and money but never have cut out the things that make the difference in getting there. 

 

    "Oh John, I need that down time. My job is so stressful." Then you need good food and better fitness. That is even more of an argument to get healthy. Proper nutrition and exercise combats more stress than an hour of HOUSE. I've learned from living healthier my kids have picked up on it in an attempt to break the cycle.

     What has happened over time is we have created habits. We get in the habit of eating that 3 o'clock snickers bar, that morning honey bun. That is how you wreck your nutrition. Save those deserts for when you deserve it. The net effect of eating poorly is catastrophic. Plan your meals. Think ahead. When you go on trips you plan right? Your life is a trip so plan

     I have a site I want you to look at. He sales products and stuff but his message is pretty good and his thoughts on food is right on. I don't follow his meal plans 100% but I like where he is with it. Trust me, if you eat just 50% of what he prescribes you would be leaps and bounds ahead of the honey bun. http://www.marksdailyapple.com
