    SEPTEMBER PARTNER HIGHLIGHT: PARENTS

       

    Our parent partners play a vital role in helping to realize our vision and mission, including: 1) setting a good example, 2) talking with youth about health and safety consequences, 3) monitoring youth activities, 4) speaking out and speaking up.

     

    THANKS TO ALL OUR OUTSTANDING PARENT PARTNERS.  Follow the  'shout outs' to parent groups on Facebook and Twitter throughout September. 

    Taskforce Happenings 

      

    Community Survey now open through end of September - Please help reach goal to collect 2,000 + Share with everyone in your networks; business, civic, education, faith, government, healthcare, judicial, law enforcement, media, non-profit, parent, youth! See link to survey - also posted on website homepage.  

    Youth Council Summit in October - help is needed to identify middle and high school aged youth in Cobb County to attend. Contact Amy Hoffman if you can help get the word out to local youth and/or youth groups and look for event registration flyer coming soon!

    Various posters available - check out link to view 4 posters and how you can request copies to help display in community locations where Cobb County parents will see them!

    We're revamping our website - expect to have new look up and running by late October or early November.

    KSU Recovery Run Sat., September 22 from 8-11 a.m. - September is National Recovery Month, come on out and support one of our partners who is hosting run at KSU on the campus green. 350 runners expected, post race event to feature raffle, give-aways from vendors, and medals for top racers.
