Consol Energy, Sunoco Logistics to Discuss Supply Chain Opportunities

JARI is pleased to welcome representatives of shale gas/gas companies to Johnstown on May 1 to discuss supply chain opportunities.  Confirmed panelists include representatives of Consol Energy and Sunoco Logistics.  Other invited participants include Halliburton, Baker-Hughes and Dominion.  The Marcellus Shale Coalition is

co-hosting this meeting and will also have representatives in attendance.  The session will begin at 11:30 am at the Johnstown Holiday Inn.  The cost for attending is $35 which includes lunch.  Please register for the session by contacting Cindy Saylor at [email protected].

Students Making Plans for the Future

On March 26th, 465 students from 11 Somerset County high schools attended the College and Technical Fair. The students had the opportunity to discuss education and career options with representatives from 59 colleges, technical schools, the military and skilled trade organizations. The fair also included a panel of employers who provided the students with insight on careers within their respective industries as well as information on the importance of critical workplace behaviors. Many thanks to the employers who participated on the panel:

The fair was hosted by Somerset County Chamber of Commerce, Success in Somerset County Committee.

 

Ask the Experts Panel

The Ask The Experts Panel will be held April 16th at noon at the JARI Center for Business Development. The presenters will be:
