50th Anniversary Interdisciplinary Arts Conference

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the Ohio University School of Interdisciplinary Arts will hold an international conference on the past, present, and future of interdisciplinary arts.  

 

Interdisciplinarity is based on the deep affinity of all branches of knowledge and provides a site for exploring this affinity. This conference seeks to bring together and encourage a dialogue among scholars, artists, and graduate students from various academic disciplines and creative venues in order to understand the nature of interdisciplinary arts.

Film Symposium: SERIES SEA HERE

This semester's FILM 5010: Symposium will be held at the Athena Cinema on Sunday Nights at 7 p.m. All are welcome. 


The symposium will take the form of public screenings called SERIES SEA HERE. Other than the obvious puns about the main engaged by the cinema, the title refers to the films in the series that will bring various seas here, to landlocked Athens 

 

To benefit area families in need, the price of admission to these screenings will be a minimum donation of one canned food per ticket. The food items will be donated to Athens city food pantries and other hunger relief programs.
