Friends Book Sale Schedule for September

Friends of Collegedale Public Library have set the date for their next Book Sale for Thursday, Friday & Saturday, September 26-28.   Mark your calendar and come by the Library for some good deals on used books! We are accepting donations of used books in good shape for the Book Sale.

Friends of Collegedale Public Library is a non-profit group whose members support the Library by their membership dues and by working to raise funds for programs, activities and purchases not in the Library's budget. Friends fund READS/OverDrive downloadable ebooks and audiobooks for the Library and have furnished the Teen Space and purchased shelving and books on CD, among other projects. If you're interested in joining, several membership levels are available, and Friends brochures are available at the circulation desk.

Lions Club Vision Screenings in October

This Kidsight Program is in conjunction with the Tennessee Lions Eye Center at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. The screening provides a digital reading of the child's eyes and results are returned within a few weeks. Another screening will be held on Friday, October 3, from 10:00-12:00. (Pre-registration is not required and the screening takes only a few minutes. No physical contact is made with your child and eye drops are not necessary.
