January News from the
Collierville Burch Library

Albert Grobmyer Welcomed the Opportunity to Support a Respected Community Asset
Mr. Grobmyer's library experiences from early in his life translated into a respect for and love of libraries which continued into and throughout his adult and professional life. When asked by Library Director Deanna Britton, "Why do you love the Library?" Mr Gromeyer replied, "Perhaps it is best described in the book Dewey, the Small Town Library Cat Who Touched the Worldwritten by his caretaker, librarian Vicki Myron. There you find, 'A great library provides. It is enmeshed in the life of a community in a way that makes it indispensable.'" We thank Mr. Grobmyer for his service on the Collierville Library Board.
