Holi, India's festival of colors, marks the arrival of spring and new energy. It brings together people from all walks of life, no matter their caste, class, age, or gender.
Although Holi has religious roots celebrating the life of Krishna, it has become more universal fun with dancing, singing, and throwing of powdered colors on one other.
Kathak dance by students of Gauri Jog's
India Dance School will follow the lecture.
Visitors can also try their hands at making Rangoli patterns, a traditional Indian form of art. W
omen create Rangoli at the entrance of their houses early in the morning, especially during the festivals.
We hope you come and celebrate Holi in an interactive way!
