2017 Colorado PGA REACH Foundation Scholarships Announced

A week after the PGA of America announced their  2017 PGA Scholarship winners, our Colorado PGA REACH Foundation would like to announce that seven candidates have earned local scholarships.   Two students earned Marion Pfluger Scholarships while five students earned Colorado PGA REACH Scholarships.
Club Champions Cup Cancelled for 2017

Due to lack of participation, the 2017 Club Champions Cup presented by Massage Envy has been cancelled.  Look for information on the 2018 version of the event later in 2017 or in early 2018.
Northern Competing in 2017 Senior PGA Championship at Trump National D.C.

Mike Northern, PGA Life Member from Colorado Springs, CO is competing in the second major championship of the year on the Champions Tour this week at the Senior PGA Championship.  Northern qualified for the event, being held at Trump National DC, thanks to his fifth place finish at the 2016 Senior PGA Professional Championship.

Post and Grady Team Up to Dominate Myran Craig Pro-Pro

Remington Post, PGA Member and Pat Grady, Assistant Golf Coach for the University of Colorado Men's Golf Team teamed up to win the 2017 Myran Craig Pro-Pro Championship presented by the PGA Tour and Jani-King on Monday, May 22, 2017.  The duo, who have been friends since their days playing in CJGA tournaments, combined to tally 64 points in the Modified Stable event at Colorado Golf Club.  In second place was Joe Carlton, PGA Head Professional at Legacy Ridge Golf Course and Caine Fitzgerald, PGA Assistant Professional at Meadow Hills Golf Course.
39 Colorado PGA Professionals to Compete in CoBank Colorado Senior Open

The Colorado PGA will be well represented next week as Green Valley Ranch Golf Club plays host to the 2017 CoBank Colorado Senior Open.  Highlighting the Colorado PGA contingent are former champions Bill Loeffler (2009) and Dave Arbuckle (2007) as well as many others.

Registration Open for Colorado PGA Senior Professional Championship

Registration for the Colorado Senior PGA Professional Championship is now open! The event, open to all PGA Members 50 years of age and older as of  September 28, 2017 will be held at Valley Country Club, August 14-15, 2017.

Register Today for the National Car Rental Assistant Professional Championship!

Registration is now open for the National Car Rental Colorado Assistant Professional Championship set for July 31-Aug. 1 at Highlands Ranch Golf Club.
      
The event is open to Class A-8 Members and all Apprentices who must be eligibly employed and in good standing at the time of entry and the entry deadline date of July 12, 2017.

The Club at Cordillera Set to Host Pro-Pro, June 2, 2017

The third West Chapter tournament of the year is coming up soon as The Club at Cordillera (Valley Course) will host the Pro-Pro Championship on Friday, June 2, 2017.  The event starts at 2:00pm and has a $125 entry fee per person.

New Events Announced, Registration Opens for 2017 PGA Fashion & Demo Experience

The 2017 PGA Fashion & Demo Experience, Aug. 14-16, in Las Vegas, is introducing a new industry networking and product testing event at Topgolf Las Vegas and moving the popular Pro-Pro Tournament to TPC Las Vegas.  Additionally, enhancements are being planned for the education and exhibition events returning to the Venetian Hotel.
