The Denver Post: Colorado rural ambulance services in a state of
emergency
When the buzzer sounds in the Morgan
County ambulance station, it's another chance to save a life in the

Boulder Daily Camera: With nearly 1 in 10 children in poverty, Boulder

Colorado Independent: Lambert to introduce Arizona-style
immigration legislation for Colorado
State Senator Pat Steadman,
D-Denver, said it was unlikely he would support a bill that had

Salida Mountain Mail: City's budget stable
It appears to be a reasonable
budget. While officials are reducing city payroll by not filling
two positions and putting a freeze on salaries, the situation could
be worse. Much worse, compared to other municipalities around
Colorado. A number of resort communities, for example, have been
forced to deal with budget cuts amounting to 20 to 30 percent, in
some instances.
