NBC UNIVERSO is pacing to close 2016 as the fastest growing Spanish-language entertainment cable network during Monday-Sunday primetime, up 37% year-over-year among adults 18-49 (41,000), up 38% year-over-year among adults 18-34 (22,000) and up 33% year-over-year among total viewers (69,000), according to Nielsen, marking the network's highest rated year ever since 2013.

CBS has announced the 12 participants selected for its Drama Diversity Casting Initiative. The 12 were chosen from a nationwide search from over 10,000 submissions. Out of those 10,000 submissions, there were 450 call-backs, resulting in 12 actors traveling to Los Angeles for a network screen test for CBS's current series, upcoming pilots and beyond.

La La Land - which opens Friday in limited release - is poised to steal millions of hearts with a seamless blend of artistry, music and romance that filmmakers consistently strive for. In India, that combination is the go-to recipe for filmmaking, as Hindi-language Bollywood films combine all three in major global blockbusters.
