NEW UNICYCLING & JUGGLING CLUBS!

Circus Harmony is excited to announce our new Unicycling and Juggling Clubs.

These are great clubs for anyone ages 5 or older and make a great family activity! All clubs are for all levels and are led by Circus Harmony's Coach, Richard Kennison.

Join us! Sign up for unicycling, juggling or both at one or more location.

Classes will run from Monday, Sept. 22nd through Sunday, Dec.7, 2014 (No classes Nov. 24-30)
Classes are $100 per person for the 10 week session
Receive $25 off for each additional sessionor family member

PNC Arts Alive Fly & Fling Show!

Thanks to a grant through the PNC Arts Alive initiative, We have been teaching flying trapeze and juggling to some very talented young people. Join us on Sunday, Oct 5 at 4 PM to see them defy gravity in various forms! The show is free and everyone will get to try their hand at juggling after show!

ST. LOUIS JUGGLING FESTIVAL TO FEATURE

KELLIN QUINN & COMPANY MCQUIGGS!

St. Louis Festival is bringing in some very special guests: our own Kellin Quinn and his cohorts Nathan Biggs-Penton and Willem McGowan! Together they form Company McQuiggs. Catch them in the Festival show on October 11th along with our incredible Isabella, juggling contortionist!

EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION AWARD

Our director, Jessica Hentoff, was honored to be awarded the first-ever Excellence Award in Circus Education by the American Youth Circus Organization/American Circus Educators' Association at their 2014 conference in Montreal.

This biennial award is given to an individual based in the USA who demonstrates excellence in circus education. The recipient of this award demonstrates the following qualities:

- outstanding and unique contributions to the field of circus education

- serves as an inspiration, role model, and mentor for students and other educators

-significant impact on students achievement and passion for circus and/or the success of other circus educators

- 10 years or more dedicated to circus arts education

In addition to Jessica, our award-winning staff include Richard Kennison, recipient of the Excellence in Education Award from the International Jugglers' Association and Rosa Yagaantsetseg who has been named both an Honored Artist and Honored Citizen of Mongolia!

CIRCUS HARMONY WELCOMES

AFTON, SEBASTIAN AND ELENA

Circus Harmony is very happy to welcome our new administrative assistant, Afton Benson. Afton hails from Minnesota and has a Master's Degree in Management and Organization Behavior. We are sure she will bring this knowledge to bear in her work with us! She is also the manager of juggler, Benjamin Domask.

We are also excited to welcome our newest youth circus interns from Germany, Elena and Sebastian. Elena comes from Circus Rosado in Frieburg and Sebastian is from Circus Paletti in Mannheim. They both come to us through Internationale Jugendgemeinschaftsdienste, an organization that places German youth in international placements for their gap year.

We are thrilled to have Afton, Elena and Sebastian join the Circus Harmony family!

CONFESSIONS AND CUISINE

Circus Harmony alums, Sidney 'Iking' Bateman and Melvin Diggs, are performing in Cuisine and Confessions, the newest creation by the acclaimed circus company, Les 7 Doights des le Main (a.k.a. 7 Fingers). The show opens in Montreal on Oct 28 before starting its two year international tour in France. Check out their cool trailer. Bravo Sidney, Melvin and the 7 Fingers team!

Renaldo 'Junior' Willams is another Circus Harmony alum who is touring in a 7 Fingers production. His show, Traces, opens in Boston October 1.
