MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU!!!!
Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)
18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
It is now 4 AM and I have been up since 1:30 AM-ANOTHER long, sleepless night with Ms. Amanda.
Hopefully I can catch some "shut-eye" around 7 AM!?
I am EXCITED and happy about this Christmas-I cannot really explain the why?
I well know so many are suffering this year and my heart goes out to any and who are hurting this Season of all Seasons!!!!
But I am THANKFUL-THANKFUL for having "all and ABOUND":

18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
My dear son Joshua often reminds me, "Dad, STRENGTHEN THE THINGS WHICH REMAIN!"

2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
In other words, be content with what WE have left to celebrate!!!!
For many, THIS Christmas will NOT be like the Christmas's we USED to have!
Just as my last Thanksgiving was celebrated with a meal at THE WAFFLE HOUSE,this Christmas will be bereft of small children and their gleeful noise on Christmas morning.
But I have a frozen Popeye's FRIED turkey thawing in the refrigerator and a Honey Baked Ham on the way, I am EXCITED.
A dear friend comes this afternoon to show me how to cook my collard greens better!
I have reserved the movie "WAR ROOM" for today's inspiration and realizing, (per last Sunday's sermon), I can do/accomplish no more, I hunker down for the celebration of my Lord and Savior's Birthday.
BUT as I awakened this morning, (PTL for awakening AGAIN), I was excited about the future!!
My heart and mind leaped within me as I pondered tomorrow:

EVERYBODY NEEDS SOMETHING TO HOPE FOR/LOOK FORWARD TO!!!
In a matter of mere days, Christmas will be a memory-2016 looms large before each of us!
HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL!!
Romans 8:24-25 (KJV)
24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
I do not know what tomorrow holds But each of us KNOWS Who holds tomorrow!
Be it bitter or sweet, WE must cling to a "VISION!"

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (KJV)
2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
