Four North Carolina cities are sponsoring regional think tanks designed to gather arts people, business leaders, and civic officials. Together we will explore public/private partnerships
that serve as a strategic model for economic development through the arts.
What is a public/private partnership?
Public = local, regional, state, federal governmental entities
Private = individual, business, non-profit organizations
Built around a common theme of economic impact through the arts, each location features experienced panelists and rich discussion. The Summits will:
- Build momentum and strategies for government support of the arts
- Network committed and passionate arts people within a region
- Strengthen ties and communications between arts supporters, government officials, and business leaders
Special Feature: All four locations include a segment from Doug Borwick previewing Building Communities, Not Audiences. http://www.artsjournal.com/engage/building-communities-not-audiences/
