This short documentary film, inspired by Laurel Leff's award-winning book Buried by The Times, explores how The New York Times responded to reports of the Holocaust during World War II and questions why the Jewish-owned newspaper buried articles about these horrific events in its back pages.

A young journalist from Baghdad sets out to write about Linda Abdul Aziz, who escaped from Iraq to Israel in the early 1970s and her father, who stayed behind was kidnapped and disappeared. The geographical barrier between Linda, living in Israel, and the Iraqi journalist is broken by the Internet as suspicion turns to trust. Slowly they uncover the tragic fate of Linda's father, as well as that of a whole Jewish community that thrived in Iraq for over 2000 years.
