Siladen Resort and Spa
& Kungkungan Bay Resort
Siladen Resort and Spa, Feb 3-10
Siladen Resort and Spa, is located in the heart of Indonesia's world-renowned Bunaken National Marine Park.  Perched just above the Equator, on the lush tropical island of Pulau Siladen, this unique resort offers you an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. This luxury boutique resort is an ecofriendly property which places high emphasis on the protection of the Marine Park and the environment, which is known for its marine biodiversity.
The Bunaken National Marine Park (BNMP), where the Indian and Pacific Oceans meet, is composed of the islands of Siladen, Bunaken, Manado Tua, Mantehage and Nain. It covers a total area of over 890 square kilometers, hosts 390 different species of corals, is a center of marine global biodiversity and ranks among the top diving destinations in the world. It offers unforgettable diving and snorkeling.
The Marine Park is known for its rich macro life and is mostly characterized by wall dives rich in hard and soft corals. Pelagics such as reef sharks (black tip, white tip), eagle rays, barracudas, tuna, napoleon wrasses and turtles are also a common sight. There are over 50 dives sites within easy reach of the Resort. All dive sites around the 5 islands of the Marine Park are wall dives whereas dive sites alongside the coast of North Sulawesi are mostly dark sandy slopes with corals. A wreck is also available for diving in the Manado bay.
Kungkungan Bay Resort,  Feb 10-14
Available as an add-on to the Siladen Resort week,  Kungkungan Bay Resort sits on the edge of the Lembeh Strait with views across to Lembeh Island.  As such, it is perfectly located in the middle of some of the world's most outstanding "muck" diving, most within 5 to 15 minutes.
Kungkungan Bay Resort is nestled on the site of an old coconut plantation on the Sulawesi coast of Lembeh strait. Located on the sunrise side of the peninsula, the view from the guest accommodations encompasses rugged Lembeh Island and the smaller Serena Island. North Sulawesi enjoys a mild tropical climate with gentle breezes year-round. Daytime temperatures are generally in the mid-eighties cooling into the seventies at night.
Facilities at KBR include a private jetty with camera rinse tanks and hot showers, camera charging room, air conditioned bar, swimming pool with swim-up bar, lounge, internet access and lending library. There are also WIFI hot spots available throughout the resort. Restaurant service is available 24-hours a day.
Kungkungan Bay Resort is proud to offer North Sulawesi's only truly exclusive dive site. Kungkungan Bay (our House Reef) can only be dived by our in-house guests. No fishing has been allowed in Kungkungan Bay since the resort opened, way back in 1994, making this without doubt the fishiest dive site anywhere in the Strait - and it's yours alone to enjoy, when you stay at KBR.
