Come out for last day of Yoga in the Park
This Saturday, Sept. 8 is the last day to enjoy free Yoga in the Park at Civic Green Park. Help close out the 10th year of the program. Class begins at 8:15 a.m.

Yoga in the Park is geared toward the beginner yogi, but modifications are offered to make each exercise more intense. Led by seasoned instructors, participants are guided on a journey that starts with a grounding meditation, a yoga movement practice and a nourishing drop into the Earth for reflection.

It's time to start cutting back on outdoor water use
As we enter September, the weather is beginning to change and we are seeing cooler daytime and nighttime temperatures. This is a sign it's time to start cutting back on outdoor water use. An easy way to start is to reduce the number of minutes you are watering each cycle.

As we approach October, the amount allocated for water budgets will gradually reduce. The water budget for outdoor irrigation provides enough water for healthy landscapes, but not so much that our resource is wasted.

To learn more about your specific water budget and when the amount allocated each month changes, call Centennial Water at 720-240-4918.
Civic Green Park fountains season wrapping up
The lower fountains in front of the Case Pavilion at Civic Green Park will be shut off for the season on Monday, Sept. 17. The stream and overlook fountain on the west side of the park will be turned off for the season in mid-October.
Civic Green Park is located in the heart of Highlands Ranch near the intersection of Broadway and Highlands Ranch Pkwy. next to the James H. LaRue Library. For more information about Civic Green Park and the various amenities it has to offer, visit highlandsranch.org or contact the Metro District at 303-791-0430.
