Join us for an evening of jokes and laughter as we present our first ever stand-up Comedy Night. The show begins at 8:00pm (doors open at 5:00pm) and is hosted by comedian Carmen Morales, also appearing Chris Smith and starring Emil "The Fryman" out of St. Louis. The Fryman is a 20 year veteran of the stage and has performed in over 40 states and more than 250 cities and towns all over the country. The Fryman can be heard regularly on SiriusXM satellite radio and has also done three military comedy tours overseas for our troops. Come in early and enjoy some dinner and drinks before the show. Craft Cider Gaining Momentum

There's an old Irish proverb that goes something like "when the apple is ripe, it will fall."
If recent statistics are any indication, the time is ripe for U.S cider makers, and a hail of apples is on the way.
Sales of U.S. hard cider tripled over the five-year period from 2007-2012, reaching about $600 million, according to market-analyst firm IBISWorld. While that's a fraction of the $10.2 billion in craft beer sales from 2012 - craft beer being the obvious analogue to cider - many of the dynamics are the same for the category and it's starting to get even more attention, particularly as it gathers momentum among consumers.

Robert Miller Executive Chef
Chef Robert started his kitchen career as the Garde Manger (Cold Kitchen) Apprentice at the private Ravinia Club in Atlanta, Georgia. He credits Executive Chef Frederick Emil Reiser as the mentor that truly put a fire in his belly regarding everything food. After his stint at The Ravinia Club, Robert worked in many establishments around the Midwest. With a High Impact Leader Scholarship and a recommendation from his mentor, Chef Reiser, Robert attended The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, earning a Bachelor Degree of Professional Studies - Culinary Arts Management. After 38 months of hands-on learning, combined with management classes and critical thinking, Chef Robert returned to southern Illinois, working first as the Sous Chef at Tom's Place in DeSoto, before finding his new home at Von Jakob Winery & Brewery/Kristofer's as the Executive Chef.
