We find open hearts from coast to coast
Yearning: A prayer for Missions
Blessed Mary of the Apostles, our co-foundress, spent her life yearning to work with the missions.

When I hear about the missions
I experience within me a real urgency-
a love and a yearning that
otherwise are unknown to me.

Would that I could serve or go
or do something for the missions-
something very special, entirely so!

Who implanted this zeal in me?
Who gave me this deep urge?
Is it not from God my Savior...
meant to return to and in him converge?

When death approaches I shall speak;
I will say: "Look, it is fulfilled!
What was always moving through my life
has unfolded. See what God has willed!"

My yearning now is stilled. And my God
gazes tenderly on me at my side.
People everywhere are finding life; salvation!
God's kingdom is spreading worldwide!

Putting on the miles for our missions

This summer, our Sisters are visiting parishes across the U.S. to speak about our mission work in some of the neediest parts of the world.  Their travel destinations include California, Florida, Maine and many places in between.

We're especially grateful Sister Maria Deyanira Garcia Martinez (Sr. Deya) from our Colombian Province has joined our 2016 "travel team."

Read more more about our Sisters' travels and follow them on Facebook as they hit the highways and skyways on behalf of our worldwide missions.
Request a Prayer

We invite your prayer requests to share with all our Sisters throughout the North American Province.

Whether in private or communal prayer, we'll hold your special intentions in our minds and hearts throughout the month of July.
