Artistic Director's Message

Dear Friends,

We begin the new year by commemorating an important moment in history -- the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. On January 27th, we join organizations around the world to honor this occasion by offering a free concert to our community. The program focuses on music by composers whose lives were cut short by Nazi persecution.  We are gratified by the generous support from individuals and our religious institutions in our city that enable us to present this program. You can read more about the concert in this newsletter.

It's always gratifying when the media offer us chances to reach new people across the region, and to to connect again with our friends. You can tune in to KING-5 TV's New Day Northwest on Monday, January 26 at 11 a.m. for a preview of our special commemoration concert. The television program will feature members of our ensemble performing live.

Did you miss MOR's November concert Transfigured Night (or want to hear it again)? On Wednesday, January 21 at 3 PM, Classical King FM 98.1 will broadcast the entire concert. You can learn more at www.secondinversion.org and listen to a Live Stream of the broadcast here.

As always, I'll look forward to seeing and hearing from you. My sincere wishes for a Happy New Year.

Sincerely,

Mina
