DEN's New, Direct International Flights Makes the Region More Competitive
Businesses in the metropolitan Denver region have four new opportunities to make international connections. Denver International Airport (DEN) announced new international flights to Paris, France; Zurich, Switzerland; Panama City, Panama; and Belize City, Belize. The additional flights mean that there are a total of 25 direct international flights to 11 countries from DEN.
In addition to making the region more competitive as a top business location, the economic impact of the Paris flight is estimated at creating an additional 350 jobs, $12 million in new wages, and $40 million in added economic activity.
Businesses looking to take advantage of these new international opportunities can choose Commerce City as a business location with its multiple large mixed-use development opportunities; several of which are adjacent to DEN. In addition, Commerce City businesses with international branches, like Atlas Copco with a location in Switzerland, and BASF Corporation with locations in France and Switzerland, could benefit from these new direct flights.
