Communication to Families Regarding 11-14-16 Rally

We have heard rumors that students may be joining a rally on November 14 concerning the ongoing contract negotiations. The District strongly supports the right of each student to express his or her opinion. We just want you to know that as this is not a District sponsored activity the level of security and supervision that would be present at a school sponsored event will be absent. To assure safety please remind your children to exercise good judgment such as avoiding busy roadways.
We expect increased foot traffic in the areas of Fountain Woods Avenue and Jacksonville Road late this afternoon, if you are driving in this area, please use extra caution.
