Community Builder Bulletin | July 2018
About 20,000 families, youth, adults and seniors in the Twin Cities will experience homelessness this year. Community Builders introduce friends who want to help Beacon change that at our Ending Homelessness Together Luncheon on Oct. 30, 2018.

Welcome Community Builders!

Thank you for taking the next steps as a Beacon supporter by becoming a Community Builder. By hosting a table at our annual luncheon, you're helping to create a future where all people have a home.

A Tour for You and Your Guests

Want to learn more about Beacon's affordable housing? We are  hosting a leader's tour of Nicollet Square on July 27, home to 42 youth in Minneapolis.
Join us, bring friends if you'd like, and see first-hand the impact of your support.

Friday July 27, 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Nicollet Square
3710 Nicollet Avenue South
Minneapolis, MN
55409

Space is limited, so please  RSVP to Elodie at [email protected]
or 651-789-6260 ext. 200.

Tours give you and your guests a chance to learn about Beacon in a personal setting before the larger lunch. If July 27 won't work, we can set up a time that works best for you and your guests. Contact Elodie to schedule one.

Mission Moment
One of the ways your work creates stable homes is through our family shelter program,  Families Moving Forward . After leaving a job to care for her youngest daughter with autism, Gina's husband left her as the sole caregiver and bread-winner in a family of three. With the help of FMF case managers, Gina now has a job that allows her to bring her youngest daughter along. Read about her triumph on our blog.

With gratitude for the community of support you are building,
Your Ending Homelessness Together Luncheon Team
