Sarasota, FL (Friday, November 3, 2017) - Beginning February 2017, Linens by the Sea, a linen rental company based in Florida, rolled out their new Community Care Celebration Contest for nonprofits and charities in the Jacksonville, Northeast Florida and Florida's Historic Coast areas.
The Museum of Science and History in Jacksonville was named the winner of up to $5,000 in linen rentals to use for an event or fundraiser of their choosing. "We are so excited," states Lydel Matthews of MOSH, "We've had to scale back lately on events due to the hurricane so this could not have come at a better time." The MOSH is Northeast Florida's only science and history museum and features a stimulating culture of curiosity and discovery for guests of all ages. Besides offering endless educational opportunities, the museum also serves as a unique venue for private and corporate events, celebrations, and community workshops.
Everyone at Linens by the Sea is so excited to partner with the MOSH on their next event. "There were so many deserving charities out there that it was so difficult to choose," says owner Tim Boyle, "Thank you to everyone who put forth their organization as so many could benefit from our help. We would love to do something like this again in the future."
