Community Conversation on Supportive Housing September 13 in Carroll
The Iowa Finance Authority invites you to a community conversation on Supportive Housing September 13 in Carroll.

Supportive Housing is generally defined as a combination of permanent, affordable housing and wrap-around services providing a cost-effective way to help people with substantial barriers to housing stability live more stable, productive lives.
We will hear from Four Oaks and the Affordable Housing Network, Inc. about their work in Cedar Rapids with PUSH-CR, a collaborative effort to implement lowa's first supportive housing designed specifically for families who are at risk of or already involved with the child welfare system as a result of homelessness or housing crisis.

Speakers will discuss the impacts of supportive housing projects underway in communities across the state, describe the development process as well as the data that supports the creation of supportive housing.  Please join us to share your views or to learn more about supportive housing in Iowa.
  • The meeting will be held September 13 at Region XII in Carroll (1009 East Anthony Street) from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
  • IFA will also hold an additional community conversation in Des Moines in November. Details will be announced at a later date.
