Bothell Fire Fund Update: Proceeds Raised Are Now over $60,000!

Enormous thank you's to the many people and businesses who have donated money to the Bothell Fire Fund benefitting the Main Street businesses damaged or destroyed by the July 22 fire.

Last week's fundraiser, the Bothell Fire Fund Block Party - hosted by the Chamber, Northshore Rotary and downtown businesses, was a huge success due to a collaborative effort of many and we are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, spread the word, volunteered their time and energy, and the businesses who donated food, wine, beer, rental equipment, and services to make this event such a success.

It is clear that Bothell is a very special community and we are honored to be a part of it. There are so many people and businesses to thank that we cannot possibly list you all here but please know that you are greatly appreciated!

You can still donate to the Bothell Fire Fund!

-OR- via mail:

Member Shout-Out!

Shout Out A SHOUT-OUT goes to TSUGA Fine Art & Framing

"A huge Shout-Out to TSUGA Fine Art & Framing.  Ken and Karen Stodola are enriching the community by presenting monthly poetry readings. I attended the May Poetry Night, which featured readings from two poets and an open mic for a dozen additional poets.

What a stimulating evening: mythology to Haiku, days of the week vis-a-vis the sense of smell in an apartment elevator to Prince dedications, and even Shakespeare from the point of view of Othello's bed, the latter from a Juanita High School student (two students presented).  Thank you for an entertaining evening!"
~ Susan Gardner, OlsonDesign Jewelers

Note: TSUGA's next Poetry Night is Saturday August 13.

P lease send your announcements, congratulations, testimonials and thank you's to info@bothellchamber.com.
