Thanksgiving With Dave At Carolina Smoke BBQ - Nominate a Family

Carolina Smoke BBQ has been blessed with loyal customers and great fans.  Dave would like to give back to the Bothell Community again this year, by inviting one Bothell family in need to join him and his family at the restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. Dave will be preparing a huge Carolina Smoke BBQ Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings for a family up to 6 people, and sending them home with all the leftovers.

They need the assistance of the Bothell Community. If you know a family in need, whatever the challenge, they would like to hear from you.  To nominate a family for "Thanksgiving with Dave", please send them an email at info@carolinasmoke.com with the subject of "Thanksgiving with Dave" and tell them why you feel that family could use some Thanksgiving love from Dave and Carolina Smoke. Nominations will be received until Friday, November 18.

Bothell High DECA Seeks Volunteers With Business Experience

Bothell High DECA is off to a terrific start this year - and your help is invited to carry their students even further. This chapter is now about 80 students strong, including many students that have decided to return as "alums," even though they are not part of a marketing class this year.

To make their program stronger, they are always looking for help as judges at role-play Saturdays, as guest speakers and chaperones.

To volunteer or learn more about DECA and its mission of preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing and business see www.deca.org.  To express your interest in helping BHS DECA, contact Doug Hakala ( dhakala@nsd.org).
