Turning Green

Spring transition can be an unsightly time for turf. You may notice a combination of winter Rye grass continuing to grow, dying Rye grass and struggling new Bermuda grass. The Gothic Landscape team has been busy with the transition aerating, dethatching, preparing the Bermuda grass for spring fertilization.  All this preparation will aid in the transition to summer grass.

Water Feature Renovation

Tortosa’s water features have undergone some major renovations. The equipment for the water features was originally installed over 12 years ago. The majority of the equipment was in need of replacement. New motors, along with pump components have been installed. Storm Water Pros has completed a full clean out of the water features and water lines. With this refurbishment, these landmarks in Tortosa are up and running proficiently, adding to the beauty of your Community.

Hello Tortosians!

Summer vacation is among us! Here are some reminders for both the adults and kids while they are on vacation.

  • Parents, please make sure your kids know that the water features, as tempting as they may look, are not for playing or swimming in.
  • Parents, please make sure your kids know that the ramada’s are not for climbing on and the playscapes are not for writing on.
  • Adults, please make sure you as drivers look out for the kids as they play, run, ride bikes, toss around balls, etc. We all at one time or another in our younger days had the tendency to dart out into the street. Please be careful and watch your speeds as your navigate through the community.
