The safety and security of our students, staff, and community are very important to us. We have just been notified that there is a recall on some of the equipment on one of our playgrounds. The manufacturer is working with the district to get new parts. Specifically, some of the pieces on the under 6 year old playground set are currently marked with caution tape and notices. Until the replacement parts arrive and repairs are done, the playground will remain closed.
We realize that many families, in our community, utilize the Young Schoolplayground after hours and on the weekend. For the safety of you and your children, please do not use the the playground until it is fixed. Signs are posted and the area is cordoned off.
