The Competition Team showcase has been moved to Wednesday March 22, 2017. It will still be taking place at Festival Place in Sherwood Park. Each competitive routine including solos, duets and groups will be schedule between 4:30 - 9:00pm. You are only required to be there for your scheduled performance time. The schedule will be released in the new year. 

This event will be open to all classes/solos/duets ages 6 years and older (excludes Kinder class). 

- To qualify groups/solos/duets must receive a mark of high silver or higher in Gravity Dance Challenge or Dance Extreme. 

- The event includes studios from across Western Canada.

Keep in mind these are averages only. We have done our best to find beautiful, suitable costumes for all of our classes. 

Costume balances are payable in March when you pick up your costumes. 

Our studio time is tight this year and many of our teachers travel into the studio to sometimes only teach a 1 hour private lesson. Because we have recently had several late cancellations, we have decided to change our private lesson policy. 

NEW! If cancelling a private lesson of any type (i.e. solo, duet, technique) you must provide the studio with a minimum of 24 hour notice or you will be charged for that private lesson time (if solo or duet, your time will be deducted from your 4 hour lesson package).

This change is in respect of our teachers and studio time. To cancel a lesson you may either phone or email the studio office. Thank you for your understanding.

All competition and solo/duo choreography fees have been posted to accounts. If paying by Visa/Mastercard they will be charged to your account as you have instructed on your pre-authorization form. You may log in to our parent portal system to see a complete list of your family fees.

To keep our dancers looking their best, we have some specific requirements for performance time. The following items will be available for purchase through the studio office in January. 

Earrings: All competitive dancers ages 6 years and up (excludes Kinder class) will be required to wear studio earrings. Both clip on and regular post options are available.  

Makeup kits: we have specific studio colours. All competitive dancers are required to have the studio kit.

Hair pieces: Some classes (typically our junior dancers) are required to have curly bun hairpieces. A list of classes requiring these hair pieces will be available in February.

Tights: If you would like to order your performance tights through the studio we will be accepting orders in January. Otherwise the dance tights specified by your child's teacher can be purchased through any dance store. Exact colour and brand are required - all students must match. 

*For returning competitive students: no changes have been made to any of these items from previous years. 

All schedules will be posted on our website as they are received. Schedules are typically not received until late February/March.
