Dear Alumni and Friends of Baltimore Lutheran School and Concordia Preparatory School,
Alleluia! He has Risen! During this Easter season, we are reminded that Jesus' resurrection has granted us the power to live a forgiven life. Jesus died to wash away our sins. May all of you find hope and renewal in our risen Lord.
I have much to share about the many exciting things happening at Concordia Prep. On Friday, March 9, we held the Saints Fine and Performing Arts Festival. We had over 20 alumni return to campus to perform along with our students in the choir, band, and cast of
Mary Poppins
and over 300 in attendance. It was a spectacular night of performances and fellowship.
Also on March 9, we launched the public phase of our campaign Renew and Rejoice. The
Renew and Rejoice campaign will update and renew several key areas on our campus including bathrooms, science labs, the black box theater, the media center, and the gymnasium...just to name a few. Visit the
Renew and Rejoice
web page
on the Concordia Prep website for complete details and ways to support this effort.
As part of the Renew and Rejoice campaign,
Concordia Prep is again offering a brick engraving opportunity for all CPS current students/families, alumni, faculty/staff, and friends! Brick engraving allows everyone in the CPS family an opportunity to honor or memorialize those special individuals in our community! Support the campaign by buying a brick.

In late April, the Concordia Prep Theatre Department, under the direction of Mrs. Joy Johnson, presented
Mary Poppins
with over 50 middle and high school students participating. On April 25, the school held a preview for 285 area Lutheran middle school students. The stage design was a first at Concordia Prep with the Art Club's scenes digitized and projected on large screens behind the stage. We had record crowds at all the performances. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the CPS Theatre Department.
CPS student art work will be on display in the gallery at Ascension Lutheran Church during May and June. The exhibit runs through June 29. If you have time, stop by and support our Art students.
