2017 SPRING COMMENCEMENT
100th Ceremony
May 6, 2017 10 a.m.
Albertsons Stadium

Boise State University will celebrate the 100th commencement ceremony on the famous blue turf. More than 1,600 students are expected to participate. The ceremony includes the processional and recessional of candidates, as well as individual recognition of each student and hooding of the doctoral candidates.

No tickets are required.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on the university website, Facebook and YouTube for guests who cannot attend in person.

PROTECT THE BLUE - NO STILETTOS OR SPIKED HEELS

Getting to walk on The Blue at commencement is going to be awesome! With this privilege comes the responsibility to protect our beloved blue turf. Spiked heels and stilettos will not be allowed. There is a lot of walking and standing on commencement day. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes so you can fully enjoy your commencement experience.

COME RAIN OR SHINE

Spring in Idaho may bring us beautiful sunshine or cold rain. Commencement will take place either way – so be prepared for whatever gifts Mother Nature bestows upon the graduating class. Rain ponchos will be provided to students if it looks like rain.

Guests, please note: umbrellas are prohibited inside Albertsons Stadium, so plan accordingly.
