Shavuot Services
Come celebrate the receiving of the Torah at Mount Sinai with us during this festive holiday!  

We will be having a Tikkun Leyl Shavuot, a tradition in which we stay up late studying Torah on the evening of Shavuot.  Coffee, tea, and cheesecake will be served!  We hope you'll join us to learn!  Here is the full schedule of events:

Are you celebrating a  birthday or anniversary this month?  Come celebrate this Saturday with us, this Second Saturday Shabbat Celebration!!!
volunteer VOLUNTEER FOR SECURITY NEEDED

We have a need for people to volunteer a small portion of their time for door security on Shabbos. Each volunteer will be asked to control entry to the synagogue for 25 minutes once a month. We assign people to the doors at times that are convenient to our volunteers. Whether you attend services every Shabbos or only once monthly, you can offer your services. Your help will be much appreciated.

 If you are interested in helping us secure entry to the synagogue and simultaneously welcome all visitors, please contact Jerome Lederman via e-mail at [email protected].

Talmud Torah K'Neged Kulam - 
Torah Study for Everyone
 
1 .     Food for the Soul   ( Wednesday mornings, after minyan and breakfast, hosted by Ron Ginsberg):  Come for breakfast, stay for a discussion about the current week's parashah.
 
2.  Rabbinic Literature Study Group (Thursday afternoons, 2:00-3:15 pm):  Take a look into the rabbinic mind and how the rabbis interpret the Torah in this weekly class.

3.   Skeptics Study Group  (second Thursday of every month, 12 noon, hosted by Michael Konter):  This group is for all of those who want to ask difficult questions about Judaism and/or seeking Jewish answers to the questions they have.  Our next meeting will be Thursday, June 12, 2018.
