TORAH PORTION
Exodus 10:1−13:16
Then the Eternal One said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh. For I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his courtiers, in order that I may display these My signs among them." - Exodus 10:1
SUMMARY:
- God sends the plagues of locusts and darkness upon Egypt and forewarns Moses about the final plague, the death of every Egyptian firstborn. Pharaoh still does not let the Israelites leave Egypt.
(10:1-11:10)
- God commands Moses and Aaron regarding the Passover festival. (12:1-27)
- God enacts the final plague, striking down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt except those of the House of Israel. Pharaoh now allows the Israelites to leave. (12:29-42)
- Speaking to Moses and Aaron, God repeats the commandments about Passover. (12:43-13:16)

New Directions
It's a new year, a new CNT Board and your Communications Committee had its first official meeting earlier this month. We are currently in the process of revamping our newsletter and website and we would love to hear any input or suggestions you may have to help us make these better serve your needs.
Some things that have been suggested include:
* Weekly member family profiles
* Mobile friendly formats
* This Week in CNT History column
* This Week in Jewish History column
* Weekly or monthly update on donations
* Brief information with links for major events in the metro area Jewish Community like the AJFF
We would love your input and encourage you to send any ideas you may have to the suggestion box below to help us make our communication pieces best serve our members' needs. The Communication Committee also welcomes any members that have an interest or experience to join us. Let me know if you would like an invitation to our next planning meeting.
