We have celebrations for the rest of this month!
This weekend is the Bar Mitzvah of Noah Moore. Services are Friday night are at 7:30 pm and Saturday morning at 10 am. Noah has been working hard, so come and hear him. It should be standing room only. Thanks to Rabbi Prass, Joe Rosenfeld, Reuven Milikovsky, the Religious School and the Ritual Committee for getting Noah and the synagogue ready.
Sunday morning at Religious School is our annual Children's Seder, which is a personal favorite of mine because this was the first CNT event I was ever a part of. Rabbi Prass will lead the service. If you know of any families with children who would be interested in our Religious School please have them contact school principal, Elaine Gutenstein, at
[email protected]
so they can be included in this educational and fun event.
There will be no service on Friday night, so everyone can celebrate the first night of Passover with their families. On Saturday night, we are hosting our Community Seder. This event is a great way for you to spend time with your CNT family and enjoy the holiday. This is open to anyone interested in learning more about CNT and Passover. The Ritual Committee is working hard to make this a memorable service. Please plan to be there for the fun. Sign up information is below for reserved tables, families and individuals.
I look forward to seeing you at these CNT events.

Mitzvah Moments
NOAH MOORE
March 24, 2018
For my Bar Mitzvah project, I will be working with
Live Safe
,
to help their efforts in providing social services and emergency housing to victims of, domestic violence, elder abuse, and sexual assault.
My project centers on helping the families who receive these critical services. In many cases the clients of LiveSafe must leave their current living situation with little or no notice, to escape from violence and abuse. Many essential items are left behind such as, basic toiletries. I will be collecting the following items to help them. Please new or unopened items only.
- Toothpaste * Deodorant * Shampoo * Conditioner
- Feminine pads * Floss * Tooth brushes * Lotion * Soap
- Travel pillows (unused or new) * Twin sheet sets
To learn more about this organization, please visit their website at

As part of my bar mitzvah project, I will be helping a shelter for homeless teens, Covenant House, by collecting socks for the teens sheltered there. At Covenant House, homeless teens are sheltered and cared for, but they are always in need of new clothes and other necessities. Please donate any new or unused socks you can to these homeless teens. I will have a collection bin at the temple,
or you can find me most Sunday mornings and Friday nights.
