On April 4, ecologist and author Sandra Steingraber addressed North Carolinians, offering personal stories at a luncheon hosted by Triangle WILPF members and an evening talk, "Creative Resistance: Fighting Toxins and Fossil Fuels."
The Fresno Branch Earth Democracy Group planned a week of activities for April 22-29 that included creative learning about climate, a tribal water ceremony, and a challenge to Governor Brown to be a "climate" leader.
The Greater Philadelphia Branch shared the documentary on the effects of fracking in Dimock, PA, and held action events in April, culminating in the Solidarity Action on April 22 with the March for Science Philadelphia.
