Registration for Congress will open on
January 15!
In order to make sure potential attendees have accurate information to register for your conference, check the
Conference fee schedule
in the
Organizers Portal
and contact us if there are any errors in your fees at
[email protected]
. Please also find your
association page
on the Congress 2018 website and verify that the information posted is accurate and up to date.

Paid registration vs complimentary passes
|
|
Registration and the payment of Congress registration fees and association conference fees are
compulsory for all attendees, including speakers, presenters, panelists and organizers (PCs, LACs, administrators, presidents, treasurers, etc.), with one exception. Member associations are allocated a certain number of
complimentary passes based on past attendance. For this reason, guests that you allocate a pass to should not register via the Registration Portal. Submit the Complimentary Pass Form via the
Congress Request System by
February 23.

Graduate Students Travels Awards
|
|
In an effort to make Congress accessible to graduate students and recent PhD graduates, the University of Regina is offering the
Graduate Student Travel Awards. Fully-qualified graduate students and recent PhD graduates will be able to apply for a subsidy of up to $500 in value towards accommodation, meal, and bookstore credits to facilitate participation at Congress 2018 to present papers, posters, or other creative works related to their research. Congress 2018 Academic Convenor André Magnan wrote
a blog to encourage young academics to seize the opportunity and participate at Congress in Regina.
Please share this information with your members and incorporate it into your Call for Papers notices. Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis starting from
January 15, 2018 until the end of February.

Interdisciplinary Sessions Fund
|
|
Each year, associations can apply to receive funding from the Federation to defray the costs of staging joint, interdisciplinary sessions. These sessions must be open to the public and all registered attendees and must be fully integrated into the conference programs of all associations involved. Review the eligibility and assessment criteria in your
Planning Guide
and apply via the
Request System
by
January 26
.
|
|
If you wish to open sessions or events to all registered attendees or the general public at Congress, fill out an Open Event Listing Form for each event by
March 2 and we will promote them for you! They will be published in the
Congress Essentials guide handed out to all registered attendees on site (if received by the deadline) as well as in the online
calendar of open events.

Inscription payante vs laissez-passers gratuits
|
|
