Why tinkering?  What is it?

Thomas Edison, America's greatest "Tinkerer," said:

I have not failed.  I have just found

10,000 ways that won't work.

Tinkering is STEM education that emphasizes
Touch & Do
Guess & Check
Create & Recreate
Explore & Discover
Find Meaning & Make Meaning

Smart School Bond Act of 2014 Passes - Mamaroneck schools projected to receive over half a million in funds!

With support from our citizens and our State representatives, Steve Otis & George Latimer, Proposal 3 was decisively approved, adding funds for technology and infrastructure upgrades to our District and across the state. 62% of voters supported the $2 billion Smart Schools Bond Act, which lets schools spend their allotment on high-tech equipment, and facilities improvements for pre-K.
