What is the Tech Expo Tradeshow?
-
Highlight of MACo's Summer Conference.
The Tech Expo is the first day of MACoCon (August 15-18, 2018), a 4-day event focusing on county services and attracting 2,500 stakeholders in local government: county elected and appointed officials, legislators, state officials, congressmen, the Governor and his Cabinet, and commercial and nonprofit organizations. A 250-booth tradeshow, golf tournament, crab feast, and numerous receptions round out the networking and partnership-building opportunities.

-
5-hour exhibiting opportunity for an exclusive set of technology vendors.
Vendors will receive a 6-foot table for a table-top display on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm at the convention center in Ocean City. Attendees will be looking for cost-saving products and services, best practices, case studies, and other ways they can improve county services through technology.
-
Part of MACo's larger technology-focused offering.
The day will include 2 deep-dive sessions on technology topics that will attract local government officials, staff, and stakeholders most interested in experiencing the latest technology first-hand. 3 "deep dive" sessions will be offered in addition to the expo.
-
Your opportunity to get focused exposure to MACo's Summer Conference attendees.
This is Maryland's largest gathering of local government officials and stakeholders. More than 2,500 individuals attend this conference and 400+ are expected to attend the Expo. Don't miss this opportunity to meet decision-makers and influencers who are actively shopping for technology products and services.
Please
contact Exhibits Manager Leslie Velasco or
Events Director Virginia White with any questions. We look forward to seeing you in August!

The fine print:
- The Tech Expo Tradeshow on Wednesday and the Conference Tradeshow (almost sold out) on Thursday & Friday are two different and separate events. Registering for the Tech Expo Tradeshow DOES NOT register you for the Conference Tradeshow, and vice versa.
- Tech Expo participants must bring technology they can actively demonstrate on site.

Other Opportunities...
- Sponsor the conference and support Maryland's county governments while gaining visibility and a relationship with MACo's conference attendees!
- Register to attend the sessions and learn more about county government needs and concerns!

ABOUT MACo's SUMMER CONFERENCE
|
|
MACo's Summer Conference is a four-day event, August 15-18, 2018, and draws more than 2,000 county elected officials and staff decision-makers, legislators, State officials, and business/nonprofit representatives.
MACo's 2018 Summer Conference will focus on all the ways counties work with water. From the health of the Bay and Maryland's waterways to the infrastructure, treatment, and regulations that ensure safe and healthy water flows through our pipes, county governments are keeping our residents afloat. Conference sessions will discuss the Bay, water infrastructure, watermen and oyster/fishery/habitat issues, floods and other natural disasters, and ways to put the wind back in the sails of a tight budget.
In addition to our 25 educational sessions, attendees will participate in workgroups, meetings, and briefings that will help shape the policy landscape in Maryland. Networking opportunities include a reception with the Governor's Cabinet, reception of tasting samples from agritourism venues across Maryland, crab feast, and golf tournament.
