May is National Bicycle Safety Month

May is National Bicycle Safety Month and this year NHTSA is asking parents and teens to be "Roll Models" for younger cyclists out on the road. They encourage all cyclists to do this by riding prepared, riding focused and following all safety measures such as wearing a helmet or brightly colored clothing. Connecticut is celebrating this month with several events, including Bike to School Day on May 7th and Bike to Work Day which is being celebrated nationally on May 16th.
If you have any ideas or suggestions for future Connecticut Crossroads topics, please feel free to email the designer Nicole Creaturo at creaturo@engr.uconn.edu.
