NEWS & NOTES     Keeping you connected with camp

Summer camp is underway and the excitement is new each week at True Friends. From the bonfire extravaganza on the first night to the talent show on Friday, camp holds adventures and experiences for all to enjoy. We've had an amazing start of summer camp, and it's our first summer as True Friends! We can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store!

Camp Activities
There's an endless supply of fun!

When you walk along the paths of camp, you hear singing and laughing and you see lots of action. Campers really enjoy special guests. We've had visits from Radio Disney and the St. Cloud Rox baseball team and various performers. Plus there's the daily fun of the lakes, nature walks, arts & crafts and more! Remember, just a few spots are open for later sessions,

True Friends just launched an online store! Shop from a variety of camp t-shirts, sweat shirts, sunglasses and other items. Pick out a special birthday gift or keepsake from camp. No matter what the season, you can stay outfitted head to toe in True Friends gear all year long.

Camper Spotlight

Meet our friend Tracy! Tracy loves everything about camp. She enjoys all of the actives and makes the most of what camp has to offer. This is Tracy's second year with True Friends and first time at Camp Friendship. She attended Camp Courage North last year. Some of Tracy's favorite camp memories come from making new friends at both Courage and Friendship, the hayride, swimming, music and the animals at the barn.

"I don't get to go on hayrides that often, so when I attend camp I make sure to take full advantage of the things I can't do when I'm home," she said.

Outside of camp Tracy enjoys music, dance, anything Disney, playing the piano and theatre. She has been a part of many theatre performances including The Music Man, Dear Edwina, Annie Get Your Gun, The Sound of Music, Cinderella, School House Rock, Guys and Dolls and Snow White. "I want to get back into theatre; I really miss it," she said. Tracy dreams of attending college to becoming a music teacher.

The Minnesota Naturalists donated a boat load...literally!

The Minnesota Naturalists donated this boat, filled with supplies, and a second van full of needed goods to True Friends. They worked from a wish list made up by camp and donated enough items to fill our entire Arts & Crafts building at Camp Friendship!

Thank you for supporting camp!
