Economic Spotlight: Facebook to Buy Israel's Face.comĀ 

Facebook and Face.com already have a relationship, but now the media giant is making its Face.com colleagues very wealthy. Facebook announced the deal to buy Face.com for a sum between $80 and $100 million.  "Face.com's technology has helped to provide the best photo experience. This transaction simply brings a world-class team and a long-time technology vendor in house," said Facebook.

Over the past week, terrorists in the Gaza Strip continuously fired rockets at Israeli communities putting nearly 1 million citizens in danger. The Israeli Air Force has responded with precise airstrikes in order to prevent more attacks.

Israel's Minister for Environmental Protection Gilad Erdan was elected Deputy Chairman of the United Nations Rio+20 Conference on Sustainable Development.
