about fraud, scams

Digital natives who grew up after the birth of the Internet are more susceptible to a variety of scams intended to drain cash from victims with emailed promises of money orders, according to a recent study by the Better Business Bureau, and it is older men who more often fall prey to phony tales of romance, investments and friends in need of help. Dorothy Savarese among Community Bankers invited to meeting at White House
Dorothy Savarese, President and CEO of The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank, was among a small group of community bankers invited to a special meeting at the White House. The purpose of the meeting with President Trump and the Administration was to present a range of concerns and aspirations for community banks to more effectively serve their customers and communities, including increasing small business and mortgage lending. Homeowners insurance coverage from a restoration perspective

Having worked as a restoration professional and as an insurance adjuster for the past 30 years, I have seen the industry change with regard to insurance coverage. Homeowners still have fires, they incur water damage from all sorts of avenues, homes get vandalized, and we still have major storms happen throughout the year. The emergency response and cleanup, as well as the required repairs due to these perils, has changed a little with modern technology but the end is the same − putting your house back to a home.
