Dear Friend of NHFPC,

This month's Community Potluck is taking place next Tuesday, March 1st.  In addition to an opportunity to share food and food conversation, it will also feature:

 - Tasting by Project Pasta, a local startup and the brain child of Jamie Freda, a private chef in the region for many years. Jamie's dream was to develop nutrient-packed pasta sans gluten or grains using vegetables, nut and bean flours. It is handcrafted and beautifully mimics Italian pasta made with flour. Project Pasta is on Instagram and Facebook.
**Pre-Potluck Event!** Up to 12 people can come early and learn how to make pasta from Jamie, starting at 4pm.  Email nadine.nelson@gmail.com to reserve your spot!

- Coffee Tasting by Vishal Patel of Happiness Lab Coffee and Elm & Eaton, a full service kitchen incubator dedicated to providing all the resources a food business needs to be successful. To be located at 754 State Street, it will provide a fully equipped kitchen, prep space as well as business development and distribution services.

Please plan to come -- and bring a friend! -- to meet, talk, eat and share.  If you'd like to RSVP with the food item you will bring, please do so at staff@nhfoodpolicycouncil.org.

Hope we see you there!

Tuesday, March 1st, 5:30-7pm
CitySeed, 817 Grand Avenue

"The Earth is Enough"
&
"Earth Loyalty & Bioregional Practice"

Monday, February 29, 7:30 PM

Fred Cervin believed that the relation of the human species to the natural world is in a
state of crisis, and that this crisis has both a practical and a spiritual dimension. The pragmatic and the spiritual are typically thought to operate on separate planes, but in Fred's vision they are seamlessly blended, as expressed in the poetry and prose
gathered in this volume.

You are invited to join an ongoing book group.

We have had several meetings on the  book , but we hope others
will be joining us.  It is easy to jump in along the way.

It is a wonderful opportunity to delve into Bioregionalism, what it is
about, and Fred's in-depth thinking  about how this applies to our lives.

We will have books available.

FUUS, 608 Whitney Ave., New Haven

Hope you will join us.
