Welcome to Langtons International Agency  Newsletter!
Langtons International Agency is one of New York's most successful boutique literary agency specializing in non-fiction: including memoir, true crime, biography, dogs , and business , exceptionally well written literary and commercial fiction: including mystery, thrillers, and young adult.

To date, Langtons International Agency has sold one book per month in 2016.

Notable releases include Trumbo by Bruce Cook (Grand Central Publishing, September 8, 2015) to coincide with the movie release, starring Bryan Cranston, Diane Lane, and Helen Mirren.

Art in the Blood by Bonnie MacBird, (HarperCollins UK, September 2015) first of a planned trilogy of Sherlock Holmes adventures, sold to 17 countries, bestseller in 5 countries.

Dancing on Her Grave by Diane Montane and Carolina Sarassa, true crime (Berkley, April 2015) Discovery Channel, Deadly Sins and Lifetime Movies.

Company Chat

Linda spent a wonderful afternoon at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York where she attended the New York BAFTA premiere of
Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie  with her client and friend Mary Conley. After the film there was a champagne cocktail party where she had the pleasure of meeting the absolutely fabulously talented Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders, as well as director Mandie Fletcher and producers Jon Plowman and Damian Jones. 

Also in July, Linda attended the first reading of her client and friend Rosary O'Neill's fantastically well-written and interesting play,
Marie Laveau and the Vampire at the Players Club in New York City. The play received  a great write-up from

A presidential premiere for The End of Innocence
The President of Israel, Reuven Ruvi Rivlin attended the launch of our wonderful Israeli client Na'ama Yeshayahu's book The End of Innocence in Jerusalem. Congratulations, Na'ama -  Linda is so thrilled for you and is looking forward to finding you a publisher here in the U.S.

Roopa Unnikrishnan to publish with New Page Books

We are delighted to annouce that our client Roopa Unnikrishnan's book has been bought by New Page Books, for release early next year. Nick Westfall, writer, director, and producer of the movie Finding Home

We are thrilled to welcome the talented Nick Westfall to the Agency. Nick is a wonderful screenwriter who also directed and produced his fantastic debut movie, Finding Home, for which  and his team raised $13,000 through Kickstarter to produce this beautiful and moving film. Finding Home premiered on National Adoption Day for over five hundred people and  is currently being considered by many major film festivals. Linda is currently talking to producers about his second film, Moon Eyes Welcome, Nick! 
Tonia DeCosimo, author of I Couldn't Believe I Was Still Single

We are excited to welcome Tonia DeCosimo to the Agency. Tonia is a successful entrepreneur whose inspirational memoir, I Couldn't Believe I Was Still Single, delves into her struggle to find love in the 21st century. Her memoir is a reflection of life in the dating world for millions of American women and she hopes it will help other women who are facing the same challenges.  Welcome, Tonia! 

Marianne Gage , author of  
Private Faces
We are delighted to welcome Marianne Gage to the Agency. Marianne is an author of two published books from Plain View Press, and has also been a teacher, and a painter. Her art adorns many homes in the Bay Area of San Francisco. She has drawn from her experiences as a painter and teacher to create Private Faces, a  novel about an artist and the friendships she forms with the women she paints that is sure to tug at readers' heartstrings. Welcome, Marianne!

Eighth Harry Potter book to hit shelves July 31st
