Contraception Education Thai Study Trip

Greetings!

I am now back to "normal" after my Thai study trip where I presented at a seminar in Bangkok but also spent time with Siamcare staff and sponsor children learning more and more about their wonderful work with families affected by HIV, with prisoners and those suffering loss and bereavement through natural disasters like recent floods and earlier Tsunami. The study trip was in 3 parts - firstly the Bangkok seminar where I spoke about on-line social networking and sexual health/relationships, then we flew north to Mukdahan to meet our sponsor children and then 3 days later Khao Lak before returning to Bangkok for the return flight on 10/4/2012.  Read more on our blog here

Reflecting on our last month
Since emailing last month Contraception Education has experienced overwhelming interest in our resources in our online shop from opposite ends of the planet! A wonderful testimonial  and large repeat order for my Contraception the Board Game from Uganda, and an order for products from the South Pacific!    Ten years old last year and it never ceases to amaze me with statistics of business failures and the trials and tribulations of SME's in the current economic climate that Contraception Education CIC seems to withstand ebb and flow in the economy, and comes out of it all with a big smile.  For this international interest  I would like to recognise and give a big thank you to Our Little Studio for the SEO in the new website and store, and of course thanks to the Great Google for responding!

We are very happy to announce that our two French students Charlotte and Elsa are here on a placement until 13th July and will be helping us with our orders, our administration and our plans for the next Contraception and Sexual Health Study Day on 2nd July.
