This around-the-clock event will mark the 150th anniversary of Lincoln's assassination. During the day on April 14 and 15, Ford's Theatre will present ranger talks, the one-act play One Destiny and panel discussions about the life, assassination and legacy of our 16th president. Full article

The US Department Of Transportation Just Simplified Air Travel For Musicians. The U.S. Department of Transportation has issued a final rule requiring U.S. airlines to accept musical instruments as carry-on or checked baggage on commercial passenger flights, provided that certain conditions are met.
