KidFest at Civic Green Park

Start off your summer with some fun at KidFest at Civic Green Park! This family-friendly event is Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to noon and is free for all attendees. Entertainment includes a Wild Wings Birds of Prey show, entertainer Paul Borrillo, Moovin' and Goovin' storytime, Claim Jumpers precision jump rope team and Peak Summer Cats dance team. Activities include a bounce house, climbing wall, games, live entertainment and more. Food will be available for purchase (cash only) from the Knights of Columbus.

Free workouts in the park this summer

Come soak in the benefits of nature this summer by participating in the Metro District's free outdoor fitness programs. These programs are offered for all ages and registration is not required.

Civic Green Park events calendar

With park shelters, playgrounds, picnic tables, beautiful gardens, water features and the Case Pavilion, Civic Green Park is the place to enjoy summer in Colorado. Festivals, movies and concerts  will take place at the park from June through August. 
Mosquitoes - tips to avoid bites

Have you been bitten lately? Mosquito bites have increased this summer and there are a couple things you can do to do reduce the chance of bites on your property. Be sure to clean out pet bowls, downspouts, drain containers, mow your lawn and prune vegetation. Also, remember to cover up! The best way to protect yourself and your family against mosquito bites is to wear long sleeves and use mosquito repellents.
