CBP this month announced that import air shipments will be subject to advanced filing requirements similar to ISF. This is a program that has been a pilot for the past number of years and is now expanding to all inbound air cargo. ACAS NOTICE

The House passed the Farm Bill 213-211 and the Senate now needs to pass their version before the bill can be sent to conference for reconciliation and hopefully a vote before the July 4th recess. The Senate Agriculture Committee favorably reported it out 20-1, so hopes are high for passage.

With the additional duties being imposed on import products from around the world, our insurance company asked us to remind everyone about bond sufficiency - making sure your bond is large enough for the duties deposited in a calendar year.
