Thoroughly Modern Millie Tickets Available
Continues Through Saturday, September 2 at 7:30 pm each night!
Thoroughly Modern Millie takes you back to the jazz Age in New York City, when 'moderns' are bobbing their hair, raising their hemlines, entering the workforce, and rewriting the rules of love.  Winner of six Tony awards, and based on the academy Award winning film, this exuberant Broadway hit show is full of high energy dancing (including tap), and fast-paced memorable songs.

Award Nominations!

YOU can help raise the profile of an exceptional volunteer and inspire others to get involved. Please nominate a volunteer today by submitting HERE.

Applause Award
This award is presented to an individual whose enthusiasm and humor adds so much to the esprit-de-corps of a show's company. To one who touched our hearts and made cares disappear... we salute you with Applause!

Golden Ears
This award is presented to a back stage participant who truly embodies the word "techie." Dedicated to those people behind the scenes without whose help the show would not go on, we gratefully honor the recipient for their hard work and enthusiasm!

Sterling Quality
This award honors a participant who, during the past year, willingly and unselfishly provided service to the theatre that is deemed above and beyond the call of duty. The winner is selected by the Board of Directors.

Leonard Costa Award
This commemorative award recognizes outstanding service and contribution to the Winter Playhouse and Corn Stock's educational programs. The winner is selected by past recipients, but please feel free to highlight the efforts of an individual who you feel merits consideration.

Golden Turkey Award
This award is presented to the biggest "turkey" of all! It's a way to poke fun at ourselves, celebrate our imperfections, and remember that we're volunteers who occasionally stumble. This award is selected by the immediate past winner. However, please feel free to share your "golden turkey" moments for consideration.

Golden Kernels/Little Turkeys
A "kernel" is not only a reference to the "corn" in "Corn Stock." It is defined as "a central or essential part," and synonyms include "core," "essence," and "heart." What better description for those who have made a significant contribution to a production? "Golden Kernels" are intended to be a heartfelt recognition.
"Little turkeys" are inspired by the original "Golden Turkey" and are intended to be comical. It's a way to poke fun at ourselves, celebrate our imperfections, and remember that we're volunteers who occasionally stumble.
Each production's director (Winter Season, Corn Stock for Kids and Summer Season) may choose TWO recipients of either a "Golden Kernel," "little turkey," or one of each. These are awarded at the discretion of the director, and can be awarded to either onstage or backstage volunteers on his or her production.

Jerry Klein. Corn Stock mourns the recent loss of Jerry Klein.  Jerry was a passionate advocate for arts and culture.  His literary talent would have made him successful no matter where chose to live and work, but his roots were deep in the Midwest.  His intellect and sensibilities held us to a high standard of achievement.  He did not just sit back and assess, he involved himself.  He was a valued member of the arts community.  CST offers sincere condolences to his entire family. Rest in Peace.

Retirement.  After 26 years of exemplary service and dedication, Nan Coleman is retiring at the end of 2017 as Props Mistress for Corn Stock Theatre.  She has been instrumental in overhauling and organizing the prop room, and maintaining it for years!  We have been so fortunate to have Nan involved, and are so grateful for her quiet, tireless dedication and positive attitude.  She's truly an asset to our organization, and we hope she comes to the Tent just to enjoy performances!

We are fortunate that two very special people have offered to step into her position.  Theresa Black and Kristin Whitaker will be the new props Co-Chairs.  Thank you ladies!  We are so lucky to have you carry on Nan's legacy, and know you'll do a terrific job!

Board Activities.  The CST Board of Directors will conduct a workshop on September 9th, and the regular Board Meeting will be held September 20th.
