Commemorating One Year of Cornerstone
October 10 marked the one-year anniversary of the launch of all Cornerstone administrative systems. Many thanks to every staff and faculty member who has worked in the systems, partnered with the project team, and dealt with the challenges of this transition. John Fahey Appointed Cornerstone Project Executive

Change in Closing Schedule
The July FY18, August FY18, and September FY18 period closings have been extended to Friday, October 20.

After working within the chart of accounts during the past year and hearing about the difficulties that you are experiencing with its use, we are exploring improvements such as better controls, better education, guidance, and support and policies to ensure best use of the chart of accounts. Ensuring easier access to data to manage accounts remains a paramount goal for the Finance and Administration Division. We are working diligently to optimize reports and queries by enhance reporting tools, and improving system interfaces that have impacted the ability to function efficiently and reliably at the school and faculty level. We are pleased to inform you that we have successfully upgraded to Oracle Cloud Release. As we work through post-upgrade steps, we will continue to track and resolve known issues. Read more.
